About Us

Westminster Area Community Awareness Action Team (C.A.A.T.) founded in 1981, is a community-based non-profit corporation operating within the boundaries of the City of Westminster and the unincorporated area of Adams County served by School District 50. The primary purpose is to serve as a catalyst for facilitating programs that will be effective in the prevention of teen and adolescent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and to that:

a. To strengthen family, children, and youth potential.

b. To inform and educate others to the dangers of mind-altering drugs.

c. To promote courage, and assist in the formation of youth initiatives for drug-free lifestyles.

d. To work with other interested groups and individuals to promote positive change leading to a drug-free society.
